Text From Source: Sir Robert Bacon, 3rd Bt. was born after 1570.1 He was the son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. and Anne Butts.1,2 He married, firstly, Ann Peyton, daughter of Sir John Peyton, 1st Bt. and Alice Osborne, before 1640. He married, secondly, Katherine (?) after 1640. He died circa December 1655. He was buried on 16 December 1655 at Ryburgh, Norfolk, England. Sir Robert Bacon, 3rd Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Ives from 1621 to 1622. He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Bacon, of Redgrave, co. Text From Source: Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. was born circa 1633. He was the son of Robert Bacon and Catherine Violet. He married Elizabeth Crane, daughter of Sir Robert Crane, 1st and last Bt. and Susan Alington, before May 1650. He died on 12 September 1685, without surviving male issue. He was buried on 14 September 1685 at Redgrave, Suffolk, England. His will was probated in February 1686. Sir Edmund Bacon, 4th Bt. was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1616. He graduated from Clare Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). He graduated from Clare Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, on 10 July 1627 with a Master of Arts (M.A.). He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Bacon, of Redgrave, co. Suffolk [E., 1611] in December 1655. He held the office of Sheriff of Suffolk from 1665 to 1666.1 He had six sons and six other daughters.
