Text From Source: Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1660. He was the son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Freston. He died circa November 1683, unmarried. He was buried on 5 November 1683 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England. He died intestate and his estate was administered on 25 June 1684. Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Bacon, of Gillingham [St. Mary], co. Norfolk [E., 1662] on 3 August 1666. He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 6 November 1669. |
