Text From Source: Nicholas Bacon was the son of Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. and Anne Butts. He married, firstly, Anne Weston, daughter of Sir James Weston. He married, secondly, Margaret Darcy, daughter of Eustace Darcy, on 26 October 1622 at Fornham, Suffolk, England. He died in August 1641.

Text From Source: Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. was baptised on 31 October 1623. He was the son of Nicholas Bacon and Margaret Darcy. He and Elizabeth Freston obtained a marriage license on 31 May 1647. He died on 3 August 1666 at age 42. He was buried on 4 August 1666 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England.
Sir Nicholas Bacon, 1st Bt. was admitted to Gray's Inn on 18 June 1639. He was created 1st Baronet Bacon, of Gillingham [St. Mary], co. Norfolk [England] on 7 February 1661/62.

He was buried on 5 November 1683 at Gillingham, Norfolk, England. He died intestate and his estate was administered on 25 June 1684.
Sir Edmund Bacon, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Bacon, of Gillingham [St. Mary], co. Norfolk [E., 1662] on 3 August 1666. He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 6 November 1669.

On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.
