Seamless upgrade?

Thanks to the WordPress team for providing a system which allows seamless upgrades!

With a little preparation & planning regards plugin compatibility (and installation of a second backup tool!), I have seamlessly upgraded to the latest version, with no (currently) visible side-effects.

Please let me know if you spot any quirks of behaviour I’ve missed..

Apologies for the lack of posts lately – undergoing a very messy house move.

Hope to employ some of my new ideas, and update my ‘net family trees (which are now suffering from being rather out of date) during/after December.

New “This Day In History” panel

I have managed to locate a new provider for my This Day In History side panel.

Formatting is a little concern, but I will monitor it over a few weeks.

Nevertheless, it should improve page loading a little!
